OVERVIEW
Audi A4 quattro Super Touring chassis ST10 won the 1995 FIA Touring Car World Cup with Frank Biela and the 1996 Spanish Touring Car Championship with Jordi Gené. Built by Audi Sport in 1995, it subsequently moved into Canary Islands competition and Spanish hillclimbing.
Its later career included three consecutive national hillclimb titles with Roberto Méndez, followed by an extended campaign with José Antonio Aznar. The Super Touring Register records its acquisition by Dermott Simpson in 2016.
1995 FIA TOURING CAR WORLD CUP
Biela drove ST10 as number 3 for ROC Competition at Paul Ricard on October 15, 1995. He won the opening race and finished second in the other, securing the overall World Cup victory.
The result gave ST10 an international title before its Spanish campaign. It was also the third and final running of the FIA Touring Car World Cup.

1996 SPANISH TOURING CAR CHAMPIONSHIP
Audi Spain acquired ST10 and ST09 for its 1996 program, assigning ST10 to Gené as number 4 and ST09 to Joan Vinyes as number 44. Both competed under the Audi Racing Team España banner.
Gené won the drivers’ championship with 213 counted points, ahead of Pedro Chaves on 160 and Luis Pérez-Sala on 153. Audi also secured the manufacturers’ trophy. His victories included both Albacete races and the opening races at Barcelona and Estoril.
The opening Jarama result differs between the references. Wikipedia credits Gené with victory, while the chassis register places him second behind Vinyes. The table below follows the register and flags that discrepancy.

CANARY ISLANDS COMPETITION
Audi Canarias acquired ST10 in 1997. The register records Aythami Alonso campaigning it successfully in local Canary Islands competition over the following three years.

THREE SPANISH HILLCLIMB TITLES
Roberto Méndez purchased the car in 2001 and won the Spanish Hillclimb Championship in 2001, 2002 and 2003. These titles established a second sustained competitive career for ST10 after its circuit-racing successes.
The register also identifies Juan Luis Cruz with the chassis in the 2004 Spanish hillclimb series. José Antonio Aznar acquired it in 2005 and continued campaigning it through 2013, with documented appearances in both Spanish and French hillclimb competition.
