Emma Felbermayr (born 27 January 2007 in Wels, Upper Austria, Austria) is an Austrian professional racing driver competing in the F1 Academy series. She drives for Rodin Motorsport and is officially part of the Audi Revolut F1 Team program for the 2026 F1 Academy season as a member of the Audi Driver Development Programme. Felbermayr has also contested single-seater championships including the F4 Spanish Championship and the UAE4 Series.
EARLY LIFE & BACKGROUND
Felbermayr was born into a motorsport-enthused Austrian family. Both her late grandfather Horst Felbermayr and father Horst Felbermayr Jr. competed in endurance racing, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans, while her brother Felix has raced in the Michelin Le Mans Cup. She began karting at age seven, progressing through national and international karting categories before moving into single-seaters.
KARTING CAREER
Felbermayr’s formative years were spent in competitive karting, beginning in local Austrian events and graduating to international competitions such as the WSK Series and CIK-FIA World Cup formats. Her early achievements included podium finishes in feeder-series karting categories and exposure to high-level junior competition.
F1 ACADEMY & SINGLE-SEATER CAREER
Felbermayr made her single-seater debut in the F1 Academy series in 2025, racing for Rodin Motorsport under the then Sauber-linked banner. During her rookie season, she scored her maiden win at the Canadian round, overtaking on the last lap to secure victory. She finished 10th in the overall standings with a total of one win and multiple points-scoring finishes.
In 2026, Felbermayr was officially announced as part of the Audi Revolut F1 Team entry in F1 Academy, continuing with Rodin Motorsport while carrying Audi branding and support through the Audi Driver Development Programme. Her role with the Audi program reflects the manufacturer’s broader talent development strategy as it prepares for full-scale competition in Formula One.
Alongside F1 Academy competition, Felbermayr has competed in F4 Spanish Championship events with Rodin Motorsport and took part in the UAE4 Series during off-season programmes to broaden her single-seater experience.
AUDI DRIVER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME
Felbermayr’s inclusion in the Audi Driver Development Programme for 2026 positions her as one of the brand’s highlighted young talents in motorsport, benefiting from structured coaching, data-driven performance analysis, and integration within the wider Audi racing ecosystem ahead of the manufacturer’s Formula One debut.
PERSONAL LIFE
Felbermayr’s family business, Felbermayr Holding GmbH, is a major European logistics and construction concern, and her motorsport heritage has informed her racing aspirations. She balances her racing career with other interests and training, often citing the support of her family in her progression through junior formulas.
