PRESS RELEASE

Audi begins delivery to customers of the special and limited series of the RS 6 Avant GT

[source: Audi do Brasil]

São Paulo, June 10, 2025 – Audi do Brasil announces the start of deliveries of the RS 6 Avant GT in the country, about two months after the launch of the special series of the supercar here. In total, 660 units of the model were produced globally, of which 10 units came to the Brazilian market, at the unit price of R$ 1,999,990.00. The result of an ambitious project by a group of young professionals of the four-ring brand under the supervision of Audi Design, the model has an exclusive look, use of carbon fiber in various elements of the body and the consecrated 4.0 biturbo engine, which offers impressive performance: acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and maximum speed of 305 km/h (electronically limited).

“We knew that the model would have an excellent reception from the public and, soon, the dispute for a unit of the new RS 6 Avant GT would be fierce. We are very proud to bring this very special car that will certainly make the hearts of the 10 customers accelerate, who will receive not only a vehicle, but an icon that has already entered the history of the four-ring brand,” says Renato Celiberti, Head of Sales at Audi do Brasil.

Unparalleled aesthetics

The new Audi RS 6 Avant GT stands out from the other sports versions of the line, such as the RS 6 Avant and the RS 6 Avant Performance, thanks to its even more impressive appearance, based on the RS 6 GTO concept. This inspiration becomes evident already at the front, with the wide singleframe front grille and the air intakes in glossy black finish, forming a uniform piece that makes the vehicle look even lower and wider. Vertical blades and hive with exclusive design on the bumper, as well as the hood made of carbon fiber with exclusive finish, complete the front look.

On the side, air outlets positioned behind the unique 22-inch wheels reduce air pressure in the wheel arch and improve brake cooling. Like the hood, the fenders are also made entirely of carbon fiber, for the first time in the history of the four-ring brand. Inserts on the side skirts and mirror covers in glossy carbon complete the profile of this machine on wheels.

At the rear, inserts on the trunk lid, nomenclature, logo and diffusers in glossy black with vertically centered reflector make the car look even wider. Above the rear window, highlight the double winding inspired by motorsport – inheritance of the prototype developed by the apprentices. For the first time in the history of the RS 6 Avant, the roof rails were removed to create an even flatter and sporty silhouette.

The model’s body receives an exclusive combination of colors: the exterior hue in Arkona White is accompanied by inserts in the traditional Audi Sport colors – black, gray and red – and special wheels in glossy white.

Insane cockpit

The RS 6 Avant GT leaves the production line with the RS plus design package as standard. The cabin has black as the predominant tone, enhanced by several details that bring refinement and exclusivity to the model, such as the apparent seams in complementary colors such as red and copper, in addition to the combinations of materials and textures designed in the smallest details to further reinforce the sophistication on board, giving the occupants the feeling of wearing a haute couture suit for a gala party.

Precise fittings, noble coatings and the “RS 6 GT” identification throughout the interior, as in the center console, carpets and seats, reinforce the exclusivity of the model. The new RS shell-type seats offer the combination of dynamic leather and honeycomb stitching with apparent stitching in copper tone. The seat belts draw attention with their tinsimmon red color, and as a special highlight, the center console features the serial number of the car limited to 660 units. There is also the exclusive Bang&Olufsen Advanced 3D sound system with motorized tweeters on the front panel and 1820W of power.

Cannon on wheels

The new RS 6 Avant GT is equipped with the consecrated 4.0 TFSI biturbo engine, V8, optimized to deliver even more performance. In total, the model develops 630 horsepower and 850 Nm of maximum torque – addition of 30 horsepower in power and 50 Nm in torque, respectively, in comparison with the standard RS 6 Avant model. Power is supplied to the quattro permanent all-wheel drive through the standard eight-speed Tiptronic gearbox with optimized change times.

The powerful mechanical assembly guarantees the model supercar numbers of competition tracks: the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is performed with primacy in just 3.3 seconds (0.1 second faster than the current RS 6 Avant Performance, which does it in 3.4 seconds). The acceleration from 0 to 200 km/h occurs in just 11.5 seconds. The standard maximum speed is 305 km/h.

Like the RS 6 Avant Performance, the RS 6 Avant GT uses the latest version of the central locking differential. Especially light and compact, it distributes engine power to the front and rear axle in a ratio of 40:60. If slipping occurs, more transmission torque is automatically applied to the axle with better traction – up to 70% can flow to the front axle and up to 85% to the rear axle. The reworked central differential improves driving dynamics, ensuring greater precision and control in high-speed curves.

To further distinguish the special edition from other models of the RS line, the quattro sports differential on the rear axle was specially adjusted for the RS 6 Avant GT. The new parameters focus on greater agility and rear bias in “dynamic” driving mode. Customers benefit from sporty, neutral and highly accurate handling.

A higher spring rate, triple adjustable shock absorbers and stiffer stabilizers (30% stiffer at the front and 80% at the rear) ensure lower body inclination, reinforcing safety and fun behind the wheel. The RS 6 Avant GT offers DRC (Dynamic Ride Control) suspension.

Finally, the new 22-inch (285/30 R22) Continental “Sport Contact 7” tires and high performance, with brakes with standard ceramic discs and red calipers, guarantee the necessary grip for dynamic and sporty driving in different road circumstances. In addition, the braking distance is up to two meters shorter with the new tires when braking from 100 to 0 km/h.

Manufacturing of the highest level

Another differential of the brand new RS 6 Avant GT in relation to the RS 6 Avant is that it is not fully assembled on the brand’s production line in the city of Neckarsulm, Germany. After the body construction steps and painting workshop, the 660 units of the special series will be sent to another assembly line nearby, in Böllinger Höfe, where the e-tron GT quattro and RS e-tron GT are manufactured in small production batches.

This installation is highly flexible and unique within the Group, offering the best conditions for polishing the last assembly details of the Audi RS 6 Avant GT, which is carried out in its final stage by seven experienced employees in three assembly stations configured especially for this special edition. Each vehicle spends a whole day there, and all the unique elements of the model are installed manually, including the hood, fenders, side panels, double sing, front and rear fenders.

It is worth noting that production in Böllinger Höfe is net carbon neutral. To achieve this, Audi uses green electricity and heat from renewable sources – an important milestone for both the four-ring brand. CO² emissions that Audi cannot yet avoid through renewable energy sources are offset using carbon credits from certified environmental projects. The company is therefore making a significant contribution to the goal of zeroing carbon emissions by 2050.

The story of the icon

The first sketches of the RS 6 Avant GT go back to the 2020 RS 6 GTO concept, developed by the hands of twelve young people under the supervision of mechanics and automotive painters of the four-ring brand, who worked together for six months with the support of Audi Design.

They took most of their inspiration from the legendary 1989 Audi 90 quattro IMSA GTO racing car, which has won several races in North American competitions since its debut that year. The model had a 2.2-liter engine, with 5 cylinders, turbo, and 720 horsepower and 720 Nm of torque. The total weight was only 1,206 kg.

The performance was scary: acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds and maximum speed of 310 km/h. In addition, the vehicle had a six-speed manual transmission and four-wheel drive by the quattro system. With striking and timeless lines, the model squandered a large rear airfoil and an immense central exhaust.

The final result of the project demonstrates the potential of young talents and how they can contribute to the manufacturer, even during the learning process.

Personalized treatment

The ten customers who purchased the exclusive Audi RS 6 Avant GT received special gifts that eternalized the acquisition of this already iconic vehicle of the four-ring brand. At the delivery of the keys, each customer will receive a special suitcase containing a decorative “Vin Art” board based on the chassis of the Audi RS 6 Avant GT model; an exclusive keychain of the RS line and a personalized case for the vehicle keys. In addition, each customer will be invited to the Audi space in Formula 1, in November, at the Interlagos Grand Prix.

Audi of Brazil

Audi celebrated 30 years in Brazil in 2024, a trajectory full of challenges, overcoming and achievements. The first appearance in the country occurred in 1992, at the São Paulo Motor Show, with the Audi 100 sedan. The following year, the eternal idol Ayrton Senna became the official representative of the brand on national soil, with Senna Import.

In 1994, the coveted vehicles of the automaker began to be officially marketed here and soon gained the streets of the country, with unprecedented technologies and unprecedented driving dynamics. Currently, the brand of the four rings is consolidated as one of the most desired in the country, with administrative headquarters in the city of São Paulo (SP), logistics terminal in Vinhedo (SP) and vehicle factory in São José dos Pinhais, in the metropolitan region of Curitiba (PR), where the Audi Q3 and Audi Q3 Sportback models are currently produced.

Audi do Brasil has an integrated business and sustainability strategy, with projects that incorporate environmental and social commitments on the themes of electrification, reduction of carbon emissions, diversity, inclusion, culture and education. It is one of the pioneers in the ESG agenda by encouraging electromobility and has already invested almost R$ 90 million in charging infrastructure in Brazilian territory, offering electric chargers in more than 40 dealerships and in several other points. It is a global commitment of the company to act to shape the sustainable mobility of the future and generate a positive impact on society and the environment.
