The Audi allroad quattro German Ski Federation Edition consisted of a limited batch of ten vehicles prepared for use during the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City. Finished in Sprint Blue, these C5-generation allroads were supplied by Audi to support German Ski Federation athletes and staff during the Olympic competition in the USA.
Each car was built to identical specification, including a rare early example of Audi exclusive work with Sprint Blue Metallic paint that made them easily identifiable.
The vehicles were selected for their combination of winter capability, adjustable air suspension, and permanent quattro all-wheel drive. Operating in alpine conditions, the allroad’s raised ride height and all-weather traction made it well suited for snow-covered roads and mountain terrain surrounding Olympic venues.

Following the conclusion of the Winter Games, the fleet was retained for use by the United States ski team during the subsequent ski season. After completing service duties, the vehicles were released for sale through Audi’s authorized United States dealer network.
Of the original ten examples produced, two have been reported to be no longer in service. Surviving examples are therefore regarded as one of eight remaining vehicles from this limited Olympic support run.
These cars are coveted by Audi enthusiasts. Most have been modified from this original specification, with several having been converted to a 6-speed manual transmission.
