Less than two weeks after its global debut on the Côte d’Azur during Monaco Grand Prix week, Audi has revealed additional details about the road to production for the new Audi Nuvolari. The company says customer deliveries of its flagship supercar will begin during the first half of 2027, with European order books scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2026.
The Nuvolari represents more than just a new halo model for the brand. Audi is positioning the 1,001-horsepower hybrid supercar as evidence of a faster development process designed to bring advanced technologies from concept to production more quickly than in the past.

According to Audi, the Nuvolari was developed and brought to near-production status in record time, reflecting a broader effort within the company to accelerate decision-making, engineering development and product execution while maintaining the quality standards expected of a flagship vehicle.
When production begins, the Nuvolari will become the most powerful and fastest road-going Audi ever built. The hybrid supercar produces a combined 1,001 horsepower and is capable of speeds exceeding 350 km/h (217 mph). Production will be limited to 499 examples worldwide.

Before those first customer cars leave the factory, Audi engineers will continue an intensive global testing program. Prototype vehicles are currently undergoing validation in a variety of environments, including high-speed and durability testing at the Nürburgring and the Nardò Technical Center. Audi says the program is focused on refining performance, reliability and vehicle dynamics under extreme conditions.
The company continues to emphasize the direct connection between its Formula 1 program and the Nuvolari’s development. Key technologies include a high-performance hybrid powertrain, active aerodynamics, the predictive quattro traction system and a lightweight structure built around Audi Space Frame architecture with carbon-fiber exterior panels.

The Nuvolari’s arrival marks a significant moment for the four rings. Not only is it the fastest production Audi ever conceived, but it also serves as the clearest demonstration yet of how the company intends to transfer lessons learned from its new Formula 1 effort into future road cars. For Audi, the Nuvolari is both a supercar and a statement of intent.
