A key mission of this website is education – if you know, you know. How you get to know is the question, and one answer this website aims to supply is an ever-expanding knowledge archive. The ooooIYKYK Audi Archive aims to be that reference, one part online encyclopedia and another part point of discovery for the known and unknown as they exist within the rich lexicon and history of the four rings.
Subject matter is piroritized and added more aligned with news and feature content going across the site, serving as a deeper dive on the news of the day than any focus on this or that particular model, era or person.
Rather than using a Wiki to string it all together, the ooooIYKYK Audi Archive has implemented a blog format to underpin the project with a richer and freer graphic and functional layout. Aligned with this, each new entry receives a chronological placeholder that is effectively the blog post date – how you get a “blog post” about the Horch Modell 1 Vis à Vis that appears to be posted in 1901.
Obviously, not every new entry makes it to the front page, so this new weekly series much like F1 updates, Audi Sport customer racing updates, Audi Fleet Updates or A.I. Imagined series aims to keep you abreast of the latest entries. These are also shared and catalogued in each issue of the ooooIYKYK Substack Newsletter, as well as the site’s presence on Facebook and Instagram as well, so make sure to follow those should you want to follow this project even more closely.
One last thing. This is a work in progress, meaning there will always be more entries to add – more topics to cover, and there will also be mistakes at times. Leaning into use of A.I. tools at our disposal for standardization, re-creation and original imagery for this project, there could also be consistencies here. Drop me a note should you spot any. Your assistance is most appreciated since this project is meant as a tool for all Audi enthusiasts.
