Minichamps Teases 1:18 Audi R26 F1 Model as 2026 Lineup Expands

Minichamps has offered a first look on Instagram at its upcoming 1:18-scale Audi Revolut F1 Team R26, sharing photos of a handsample representing Nico Hülkenberg’s car in 2026 Spanish Grand Prix specification. At the same time, the model manufacturer is building out an extensive R26 program, with Nico Hülkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto cars appearing across 1:18, 1:43 and 1:64 scales.

The newly teased model carries item number 117260727 and represents Hülkenberg’s No. 27 R26 as raced at the inaugural Spanish Grand Prix at Madrid’s Madring. Minichamps describes the example photographed for its Instagram account as a handsample, so some details may change before the production version arrives.

The Spanish GP specification is particularly timely following Audi’s first Formula 1 weekend at the Madring, where Hülkenberg finished 10th and added another championship point to Audi’s 2026 total. It also gives collectors a later-season version of the R26 alongside the Australian and Monaco specifications appearing elsewhere in the Minichamps catalog.

THREE SCALES AND MULTIPLE GRAND PRIX SPECIFICATIONS

Looking through the Minichamps catalog reveals a much larger R26 program than the single Spanish GP model teased on Instagram. Both Audi drivers are represented, with models currently identified from the Australian, Monaco and Spanish Grands Prix.

Perhaps the most visually distinctive are the Monaco cars. Audi substituted yellow accents for the red detailing normally used on the R26 for the Monaco Grand Prix, meaning these aren’t simply differently labeled versions of otherwise identical models. They’ll document one of the more obvious race-specific liveries from Audi’s debut F1 season.

Each car is in the pre-order phase, so we’re going to go ahead and link each one separately below. At the time of this writing, none of them are yet sold out. However, that status could change at any moment as Minichamps tends to limit its production run. Should you click through and find them sold out, another way to get these is to watch Ebay and established model car shops (especially German ones) as they tend to also get larger quantities for inventory.

Organized by scale and race, the R26 models we’ve identified so far include:

1:18 SCALE

MONACO GP

SPANISH GP

1:43 SCALE

MONACO GP

SPANISH GP

1:64 SCALE

AUSTRALIAN GP

MONACO GP

That brings the currently identified Minichamps Audi R26 program to 12 individual models, with four each in 1:18, 1:43 and 1:64 scale.

Also worth noting, Minichamps is a regular supplier to Audi collection, meaning the quality of these models tends to match what you might expect buying an official Audi model at your dealership even if they come in a Minichamps branded box instead of Audi collection.
