Having only ever seen Audi’s next-generation RS Avants in test mule form and complete with the Ingolstadt development team’s psychedelic camouflage, it’s hard to get a real gauge at what the finalized cars will look like. Yes, you can theorize on it now that the B10 A5/S5 are in all markets and the A6 is out and about. Renderings like the ones in the oooo Intel Report for the C9 RS 6 also show a fair degree of what we can expect, but it’s still no substitute for the real thing… or things in this case.
Spy photographer Stephan Barral (@stephanbarral) has been making a name for himself on Instagram with his great shots catching the development cars out testing on a regular basis, and so it’s definitely worth taking note of his account.
Of particular interest here are when the two cars are running together. Stephan caught them in just such a posture and has shared all of that on his account. This focus is mainly to highlight that, video of each of them individually and then photos of the two together in order to see just how similar the two RS Avant siblings appear to be despite the difference in size.
In addition to the videos above, a gallery of the pair has also been added below. Follow @stephanbarral for more content of this nature and I’ll do my best to put it all in perspective as I find it.
