The Formula One season reaches its final stop before the summer break this weekend as the championship heads to Budapest for the Hungarian Grand Prix. Since joining the calendar in 1986, the Hungaroring has earned a reputation as one of Formula One’s most technical venues. Nicknamed “Monaco without the barriers,” the 4.381-kilometer circuit rewards drivers who can string together flawless qualifying laps while managing tire wear and race strategy across 70 demanding laps. Overtaking opportunities remain scarce, making track position one of the defining factors of the weekend.
For Audi Revolut F1 Team, Hungary presents a final opportunity to head into the summer shutdown by continuing the momentum having earned points in the last two races. Strong qualifying performances from Gabriel Bortoleto and the experience of Nico Hülkenberg will be critical if Audi is to capitalize on the Hungaroring’s unique demands and carry positive momentum into the second half of its inaugural Formula One campaign.

Audi Revolut F1 Team heads to Budapest for the final race before the Formula One summer break, motivated by the progress shown over recent rounds. Back-to-back top ten finishes have rewarded the team’s continuous development behind the scenes; the focus is now on carrying that performance into the Hungarian Grand Prix as the team looks to end the first part of the season on a positive note.
Development Programme driver, Freddie Slater, will also be in action at the Hungaroring, looking to sign off the opening half of his Formula 3 campaign on a high after claiming six podiums across the first six rounds.
