Audi enthusiasts will have another large-scale model to add to the collection this month, though this one requires considerably more assembly than most.
CaDA is launching an officially licensed Audi RS 6 Avant building set on August 15, 2026, recreating Audi’s high-performance wagon with approximately 4,600 individual pieces.
Developed in collaboration with Audi, the RS 6 is positioned toward the upper end of CaDA’s automotive building sets in both size and complexity. Beyond reproducing the exterior design of the full-size RS 6 Avant, the model incorporates functional mechanical elements including working steering and suspension.
The emphasis on mechanical functionality puts the set closer to an engineering model than a conventional static scale replica, with much of the underlying chassis and its systems constructed as part of the build.
At roughly 4,600 pieces, it should also make for a substantial finished model and a considerably more involved project than the smaller licensed Audi building sets that have appeared in recent years.
The RS 6 continues Audi’s growing presence in the construction-model category, which has become another way for manufacturers to translate current and historic models into enthusiast collectibles. Official licensing also means CaDA has worked with Audi on the design rather than simply producing an approximation of the RS 6.
Pricing through Decadastore is expected to be approximately €320, equivalent to around $370 at current exchange rates. Regional pricing may vary.
The officially licensed CaDA Audi RS 6 Avant goes on sale August 15.
