H&R Releases Lowering Springs for Audi A6 e-tron

H&R Germany has announced a new lowering spring application for the Audi A6 e-tron, offering owners of Audi’s latest electric executive car an opportunity to enhance both appearance and handling. Developed for rear-wheel-drive A6 e-tron variants, the springs are designed to reduce ride height, lower the vehicle’s center of gravity and sharpen driving dynamics while maintaining everyday usability.

As with all H&R Germany product announcements, specifications, applications and availability may differ in other markets including North America.

SPORTIER LOOK FOR SPORTBACK AND AVANT

According to H&R, the lowering springs are intended to further emphasize the sleek proportions of the A6 e-tron, whether in Sportback or Avant form. By reducing wheel arch gap and bringing the body closer to the road, the springs create a more purposeful stance while maintaining the premium appearance expected of Audi’s electric flagship in the executive segment.

H&R says the revised ride height allows the wheels to sit more naturally within the wheel arches, creating a more balanced and cohesive overall appearance.

LOWER CENTER OF GRAVITY, IMPROVED DYNAMICS

Beyond aesthetics, the lower ride height is intended to improve vehicle dynamics through a reduced center of gravity. H&R cites more direct steering response, improved driving precision and reduced body roll during spirited driving as key benefits of the new setup.

Despite the sportier calibration, the company says ride comfort remains suitable for daily use, making the springs an attractive option for owners seeking improved handling without sacrificing practicality.

DESIGNED FOR AUDI’S PPE-BASED EV

Built on Audi and Porsche’s Premium Platform Electric architecture, the A6 e-tron was engineered to combine long-range efficiency with executive-class comfort and refinement. H&R’s latest spring package seeks to build upon those characteristics by adding a more engaging driving experience and a more aggressive visual presence.

The springs are designed to work with the factory suspension systems while delivering the lower stance many enthusiasts prefer.
