Audi’s new supercar has officially landed in the United Kingdom. Ahead of its dynamic debut at this week’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, the 1,001 PS Audi Nuvolari has been making appearances across London, using some of the city’s best-known architectural landmarks as a backdrop for its UK introduction.
The London appearance continues a busy launch schedule for the limited-production hybrid supercar, which was unveiled last month and will now make its first public appearance in Britain at Goodwood. Audi positioned the Nuvolari in locations spanning the City, Mayfair and Kensington, emphasizing the connection between the car’s minimalist design language and London’s reputation as a global center for architecture, design and innovation.

For Audi, the visit also serves as an opportunity to reinforce the Nuvolari’s role as the technological flagship of the brand’s ongoing transformation. Developed under Chief Creative Officer Massimo Frascella’s new design philosophy, the supercar introduces a cleaner, more restrained aesthetic in which every surface and detail serves a functional purpose. That same philosophy extends to the cockpit, where the focus remains firmly on the driving experience rather than visual ornamentation.
Beneath its carbon fiber bodywork, the Nuvolari combines a new 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 with three axial-flux electric motors to produce a combined 1,001 PS. Audi claims a 0-62 mph time of 2.7 seconds and a top speed exceeding 217 mph (350 km/h), making it the fastest and most powerful production Audi ever built. The car also debuts several technologies inspired by the brand’s Formula 1 program, including active aerodynamics with Drag Reduction System (DRS), extensive lightweight construction and the predictive evolution of quattro drive, which continuously analyzes vehicle data to optimize chassis and drivetrain performance.

Audi UK Director José Miguel Aparicio described London as an appropriate setting for the car’s British debut, noting the city’s reputation for technology, design and innovation mirrors the goals of the Nuvolari project. He also positioned the model alongside landmark Audi performance cars such as the ur-quattro and the TT, describing the new supercar as the company’s next technological “lighthouse.”
The Nuvolari’s stay in Britain is only just beginning. Following its London showcase, the car heads to the Goodwood Festival of Speed where it is expected to be one of the headline attractions both on static display and on the famous hill climb. Customer deliveries of the 499-unit production run remain scheduled to begin during the first half of 2027.
