Lego may be the most synonymous name in bricks, but that hasn’t stopped Mattel / Hot Wheels from getting in on the action. Over the last year (the line was launched in 2025 after all) the Mattel Brick Shop has dropped several officially licensed Audi brick kits and the latest is the 1984 Audi Sport quattro (one of seven new kits from Mattel).
The Sport quattro kit is part of what Mattel / Hot Wheels call their Elite Series kits that cost $53.99. It’s an 864 piece kit that, once assembled, results in a 1:16 scale Sport quattro with functional hood, trunk and doors plus a removable roof in order to access the equally detailed interior.

Examining the associated photography of this “coming soon” kit, it appears that you can build the car in either OEM Sport quattro form complete with white Ronal wheels, or go for something a bit more rally inspired complete with team decals, gold 5-spoke racing wheels and Hella rally lights that always look the business on any sort of vintage quattro.
Oh yeah, there’s also a matching Hot Wheels car – a red Sport quattro with gold 5-spoke wheels.
