Audi Teases Blue-and-White Singapore F1 Livery Ahead of October 5 Reveal

Audi’s Singapore Grand Prix livery remains under wraps, but its interactive teaser and the team’s special adidas Singapore collection offer a fairly clear indication of what we can expect. The team has confirmed an October 5 reveal, the day after this weekend’s Grand Prix, with glimpses beneath the teaser’s white shell pointing toward a blue-and-white patterned treatment for the R26.

The interactive microsite presents the car encased in a white porcelain-like shell. Moving the cursor across its surfaces causes sections to crack open, exposing small areas of blue decorated with fine white ornament. Those glimpses appear consistent with the graphics on the adidas Singapore apparel that has already been available for several weeks.

Taken together, the two provide enough information for an informed prediction. The precise layout remains unknown, but the underlying colors and decorative approach seem to spell out what we can expect.

THE APPAREL PROVIDES THE CLEAREST CLUES

The adidas Singapore collection combines blue-and-white ornamental graphics with contrasting red Audi rings. On the graphic T-shirt, a square tile arrangement frames a detailed lion illustration, surrounded by floral forms and curling lines. It is a substantial departure from the team’s usual silver, black and red identity.

Audi describes the collection’s inspiration as a combination of Singapore’s cultural influences, architecture and contemporary urban character, specifically referencing Peranakan architecture. The team also identifies the central lion graphic as a reference to the guardian lions found at temple and pagoda entrances, associated with protection and strength.

The teaser appears to bring that same decorative language onto the car. Blue surfaces and white ornament are visible through openings around the bodywork, suggesting a change that extends beyond a few colored accents. How much of the R26 will carry the pattern, whether the lion illustration will appear on the car, and how the graphics will accommodate its sponsors remain to be seen.

To explore that possibility, we created the speculative renderings shown here using photographs of the R26, captures from the teaser and the adidas graphics as references. Our interpretation extends the blue-and-white pattern across the painted bodywork while retaining the red driver numbers and existing red Audi rings. These are unofficial predictions, not images of the confirmed livery, and their pattern coverage and sponsor treatment should be read accordingly.

A LARGER CHANGE THAN MIAMI OR MONACO

Audi’s race-specific treatments so far have largely preserved the R26’s established appearance. Miami introduced distinctive colors to the driver numbers, accompanied by a dedicated adidas apparel collection and corresponding race suits. The Miami range used pink and blue against black, with the drivers’ suits carrying the collection’s colors and patterns.

Monaco brought a more visible change, substituting yellow for prominent red elements and extending the treatment to the drivers’ suits. Audi linked that yellow to Auto Union racing driver Tazio Nuvolari, giving the variation a historical reference while retaining the basic structure of the regular livery on the same race week they revealed the Nuvolari road car.

Singapore appears likely to go further when it comes to special livery design. If the exposed pattern carries across the car as extensively as the teaser suggests, this would represent a broader redesign of its visual identity for the weekend. The adidas collection also provides a reasonable basis for expecting coordinated racewear, although the final Singapore suits have yet to be established here.

PART OF A BROADER SINGAPORE CAMPAIGN

The livery teaser arrives alongside a substantial program of activity across Singapore. Under the title “The Art of Influence,” Audi Revolut F1 Team is bringing together its partners, local businesses and community organizations for experiences involving food, fashion, running, retail and public viewing. The stated aim is to give people ways to engage with the team without needing a race ticket or paddock access.

That provides context for the coordinated design effort, though Audi has not yet specifically explained why Singapore will invite a more extensive livery change than its earlier special treatments. Its campaign announcement does say the adidas pattern belongs to a broader visual identity that will appear across the team’s race-week presence. Reading the car as another part of that identity is a reasonable inference.

We will cover the Singapore activations in more detail in next week’s race preview. For now, the teaser makes the car itself the immediate point of interest: the apparel has already established the design language, and the cracks in the white shell suggest how it could translate to the R26.

Audi’s October 5 reveal will settle the remaining questions. Until then, blue-and-white ornament looks like a well-supported prediction, even if the exact balance of pattern, sponsor graphics and familiar red details remains concealed.
