German suspension specialist H&R has announced a new range of lowering springs for the latest Audi A6 (C9), offering owners of both sedan and Avant models an opportunity to sharpen the car’s appearance and handling characteristics.
Developed specifically for the new generation A6, the springs are designed to reduce ride height while maintaining compatibility with factory suspension systems. According to H&R, the changes are intended to deliver a more aggressive stance, reduced body roll and more direct steering response without significantly impacting day-to-day comfort.
The new A6 already arrives with a broader track, revised chassis technology and available all-wheel steering, but H&R says its spring package further enhances the balance between comfort and dynamics that defines Audi’s executive sedan and wagon.

LOWER RIDE HEIGHT, SPORTIER STANCE
Visually, the most obvious change is a reduction in wheel arch gap. The lowered ride height gives the A6 a more planted appearance and emphasizes the proportions of both the sedan and Avant body styles.
Beyond aesthetics, H&R claims the springs improve steering precision, reduce body movement during cornering and enhance overall road holding. As with other H&R products, the springs are manufactured from high-tensile spring steel and developed specifically for the vehicle applications listed below.
