We’ve got just a week between Monaco and Barcelona, with F1 news stacking up including Audi Revolut F1’s allowing Alpine’s reserve driver some time in the R26. In as much, this one’s a bit more packed than your typical race preview.

AUDI REVOLUT F1 | FORMULA 1 SERIES

PAUL ARON TO RUN AUDI R26 DURING FP1 AT BARCELONA & SPIELBERG
Paul Aron is set to make two Free Practice appearances with Audi Revolut F1 Team this season, starting with this weekend’s Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix, followed by a further outing at the Austrian Grand Prix in Spielberg at the end of the month.
Having previously driven for the team in two different occasions in 2025, Paul will take over driving duties from team racers, Nico Hulkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto, in Barcelona and in Spielberg respectively for the opening session of each race weekend, before returning to Alpine for the remainder of the events.
Paul’s outings at the wheel of the R26 align with the FIA regulations requiring each driver taking part in the Formula One World Championship to give up their seat twice per season to allow a young driver the opportunity to take part in practice sessions. These will provide further valuable track time for the young Estonian as he continues to build experience in Formula One machinery while contributing to the team’s on-track programme.
FORMULA 1 EXHIBITION TO MAKE ASIA DEBUT IN SINGAPORE

The Formula 1 Exhibition is set to make its Asian debut in Singapore on July 23, bringing the award-winning attraction to Gardens by the Bay for a limited engagement. Singapore becomes the 11th host city for the exhibition, which has already welcomed more than 1.3 million visitors across Europe, Australia, North America and South America.
The immersive experience traces the history and evolution of Formula 1 through a series of themed galleries covering the sport’s defining moments, technological innovations and legendary rivalries. Highlights include displays focused on engineering and car design, a tribute to iconic drivers and championship battles, and the Survival exhibit featuring remains of Romain Grosjean’s Haas race car from his dramatic 2020 Bahrain crash.
The exhibition concludes with Singapore Drive, a section dedicated to the city-state’s contribution to Formula 1 and its role as host of the sport’s first night race. Organizers say the Singapore stop will combine original storytelling, interactive technology and rare artifacts to offer fans a deeper look at the past, present and future of Formula 1.
FORMULA 1 & HASBRO UNVEIL MONOPOLY FORMULA 1 EDITION

Formula 1 is expanding its reach through a new partnership with toy and games giant Hasbro, resulting in a special Formula 1 edition of the classic Monopoly board game. Available for global pre-order beginning May 20 ahead of a July 15 release, the game is designed to bring the excitement of an F1 season into the living room.
Monopoly Formula 1 Edition reimagines the traditional board game by sending players around the Formula 1 calendar rather than a city map. Players select their favorite Formula 1 team and use helmet-themed tokens to compete for championship points and race victories, with a central track on the board serving as the stage for the Monopoly GRAND PRIX.
This is the second board game to come from a tie-in with F1, following a tie-in with the card game Uno manufactured by Mattel.
FORMULA 1 EXTENDS LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX THROUGH 2037

Formula 1 has secured the long-term future of the Las Vegas Grand Prix, announcing a new agreement that will keep the race on the calendar through 2037. The 10-year extension reinforces Las Vegas’ position as one of Formula 1’s flagship destinations, with local officials, race organizers and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority committing to the event’s continued growth.
Since joining the championship in 2023, the Las Vegas Grand Prix has combined Formula 1 racing with the city’s renowned entertainment and hospitality offerings. Held on the 3.8-mile Las Vegas Strip Circuit, the race sends drivers past landmarks including Bellagio, Caesars Palace and The Venetian while reaching speeds in excess of 200 mph. The event has quickly become one of the sport’s most recognizable races, with all three editions to date selling out.
Formula 1 says the race has generated a cumulative economic impact of $3.2 billion for Southern Nevada since its debut, including $43 million in state and local tax revenue in 2025 alone. Beyond the financial benefits, the event has invested in local education and community programs through the Las Vegas Grand Prix Foundation and Grand Prix Plaza, the sport’s largest permanent attraction. Organizers say the extension provides a foundation for continued growth as Las Vegas remains a centerpiece of Formula 1’s North American expansion.
TICKETS ON SALE NOW FOR LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX

Tickets for the 2026 Formula 1 Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix are now on sale, with organizers unveiling several fan-focused updates for next year’s race weekend, scheduled for November 19-21. Following another sold-out event in 2025, the race will once again take over the Las Vegas Strip Circuit while introducing expanded access between several of its most popular spectator areas.
The biggest change for 2026 is the integration of the West Harmon Zone with the existing East Harmon Zone and Koval Zone by Heineken, allowing fans to move between all three areas throughout the weekend. The expanded footprint gives ticket holders greater access to activations, entertainment and the Heineken Stage, which hosts driver appearances and live performances during the event. Organizers have also confirmed the return of the popular Lewis Hamilton Grandstand Package, which includes a reserved seat in the West Harmon Zone and exclusive merchandise.
Additional updates include the relocation of the Turn 3 Grandstand to the west side of Turn 3, providing a new vantage point overlooking Turns 3 and 4 and the run onto Koval Straight. Ticket pricing begins at $50 for single-day general admission and $492 for three-day general admission in the Flamingo Zone by Caesars Rewards. The 2026 weekend will also feature the return of F1 Academy, with the all-female championship once again concluding its season on the streets of Las Vegas as Formula 1 continues to expand the event’s on-track and off-track offerings. R:7 TEAM RACE PREVIEW

Audi Revolut F1 Team heads to Barcelona looking to build on the encouraging pace shown in Monaco. Following a busy weekend in the Principality, the championship moves to the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix, a traditional circuit that is often held as the archetypal permanent track, owing to its wide range of corners and technical requirements.
The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya holds special significance for Audi Revolut F1 Team, having hosted the first laps of the R26 during pre-season running in January. Returning to the venue where the team’s 2026 story began offers an opportunity to reflect on the steps made so far, while remaining focused on the work still to come to fulfil the team’s objectives.
Formula 3 also returns to action this weekend, with Freddie Slater looking to continue his strong form following his Feature Race podium finish at the Monaco round.
TEAM QUOTES

Allan McNish, Racing Director
“We showed encouraging pace in Monaco, proof that we are continuing to make progress, even if the final outcome did not reward the work that went into the weekend. Barcelona presents a different challenge altogether, but it is a circuit we know well and one that provides a good reference point for measuring our development. We return to the track where our story started earlier this year, and our aim is to build on the positives from last weekend, continue learning and keep moving forward.”

Nico Hulkenberg, Car #27
“Monaco ended in a quite frustrating way, but that’s behind us now as we head into a new race week. There were still positives to take away from last weekend: our pace was encouraging, and that’s something we want to carry forward. Barcelona is a very different challenge from Monaco and it’s always a good test of the overall package. We’ve been making steps in the right direction so hopefully we will be able to extract the potential of the car.”

Gabriel Bortoleto, Car #5
“We showed some encouraging signs in terms of performance in Monaco. Every race is a chance to learn more and keep improving, and that’s what we’re focused on heading into Barcelona. It’s a circuit I’ve spent a lot of time at over the years, in nearly every series I have competed in, and one where teams have no surprises, thanks to all the testing we’ve done there already. Our focus needs to be on a clean weekend in which we can maximise the potential of our car, execute well, and hopefully come home with some points.”
