Audi has launched the German-market configurator for the new RS 5 Sedan and RS 5 Avant. This is the first full look at how the brand is structuring options for its next-generation RS model, including paint, interior packages, and performance equipment.
Both body styles share the same configuration structure and core options.
This is the next step as the car moves closer to market availability. Since it will be a few months before it comes on line for North America, the U.S. and Canadian market configuration tools aren’t yet live. Still, being able to take a more detailed look and build your own is something enthusiasts won’t want to miss.
EXTERIOR COLORS
The configurator groups colors into standard metallics, RS-specific finishes, and extended premiumn/ Audi exclusive offerings. Surprisingly, or perhaps unsurprisingly to cynics, the initial list of colors is heavy on neutral tones (including three greys) and suprisingly light on colors (including only three to cover the entire spectrum).
