The 2025 edition of the Essen Motor Show is scheduled to run from 29 November to 7 December 2025, with a preview day on 28 November, at Messe Essen (Messeplatz 1, 45131 Essen, Germany).
Often described as the European counterpart to the US-based SEMA Show, the Essen Motor Show is built around the tuning, motorsport and performance aftermarket of the automotive industry.
Rather than being purely a trade fair, the show is open to the general public, allowing visitors not only to view the latest automotive builds, performance upgrades and classic cars, but also to purchase accessories, parts and other products on site. Exhibitors include specialist tuners, motorsport teams, parts suppliers and lifestyle brands.
Highlights at the 2025 event will span across multiple themed halls: from tuning and lifestyle zones, to a dedicated motorsport area, a classic-car section and show-car presentations. With more than 500 exhibitors expected from around 16 countries, the event serves as a performance festival and end-of-season draw for automotive enthusiasts. The Essen Motor Show delivers a unique mix of trade activity and public engagement — bridging the gap between industry commerce and enthusiast culture.
