Audi Concept C Premieres in London, Communicating New Era of Design for Audi

In the heart of London, Audi unveiled the Concept C — its latest concept that also signals the beginning of a new design direction for the brand. The car was presented at an exclusive event hosted by Chief Creative Officer Massimo Frascella.

“Radical simplicity is the core of Audi’s new design philosophy,” Frascella explained. “True clarity is achieved by reducing everything to the essential — the Concept C is the first manifestation of a new design language that feels intuitive, confident, and unmistakably Audi.”

Audi’s legacy is defined by machines that reshaped automotive design — from the ur-quattro to the TT and the R8. The Concept C carries that lineage forward with quiet confidence. Its reimagined “vertical frame” grille nods to the Auto Union Type C of 1936 while setting a new visual foundation for future Audi models. Four horizontal light elements in each headlamp create a distinct new signature — one that will become instantly recognizable across the range.

“The Concept C represents more than a design evolution,” said José Miguel Aparicio, Audi UK Director. “It marks our next step toward leadership in the premium space, blending heritage and innovation in equal measure.”

The same clarity that defines the exterior continues within. The cabin continues the theme: anodized aluminum, geometric symmetry, and tactile materials form a minimalist yet luxurious environment. Physical controls return in machined metal, grounding the interface experience in craftsmanship and touch. A titanium-inspired finish ties the design together, creating a seamless link between aesthetic purity and technical integrity.

A VENUE BELOW THE LIGHTS

Audi chose one of London’s most immersive new venues, Below The Lights at Piccadilly Circus, for the UK debut. The 14-metre LED wall surrounded the Concept C with dynamic visuals, amplifying every curve, reflection, and detail.
