Japanese Market A6 & A7 exclusive editions Showcase Tailored Style

Audi Japan is closing out two of outgoing C8-based models with a distinctly custom twist with the launch of limited-run “exclusive edition” variants of the A6 Avant and A7 Sportback. Each is capped at just 15 units and designed to showcase the more expressive side of Audi’s bespoke “Audi exclusive” program — where color, material, and detail are treated as art forms.

A6 AVANT EXCLUSIVE EDITION

The A6 Avant exclusive edition builds on the 55 TFSI quattro S line, taking the familiar long-roof silhouette and dressing it in a striking Sebring Black Crystal Effect paint. The look is deliberately understated but aggressive, with anthracite black 21-inch wheels, darkened headlight housings, and blacked-out trim — including the roof rails, grille, and Audi rings. It’s capped by an RS-style roof spoiler that sharpens the profile and gives the wagon real presence.

Inside, the Cognac Brown and Black interior treatment, unique to this edition, mixes Valcona leather sport seats with natural Volcano Grey fine-grain ash inlays. Even the seatbelts and floor mats have been given Cognac accents. The overall effect is less businesslike than the standard A6 — more like a luxury lounge on wheels.

A7 SPORTBACK EXCLUSIVE EDITION

If the A6 Avant’s theme is one of subtlety, the A7 Sportback exclusive edition embodies an extroverted sibling. Painted in Ascari Blue Metallic with a contrasting Brilliant Black roof, the A7’s low, sculpted form becomes even more dramatic. Matching anthracite wheels and darkened headlight housings finish off the exterior appearance. A panoramic roof adds openness to the otherwise coupe-like design.

Inside, Audi exclusive takes a bold approach with Diamond Silver and Ocean Blue seats, accented with carbon twill inlays. Tailored details — from the stitching to the ocean blue seatbelts — are designed to feel deliberate and distinct, a showcase of precision.

POWER & SUBSTANCE

Both models share Audi’s 3.0-liter V6 TFSI engine with mild-hybrid assistance, good for 340 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. Power is sent through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox to all four wheels via quattro all-wheel drive.

Standard kit includes a Bang & Olufsen 3D sound system, wireless charging, heated sport steering wheel, and power-closing doors. These are cars for detail obsessives, blending real mechanical capability with thoughtful craftsmanship.

JUST FIFTEEN OF EACH

With only 15 examples of each model available for Japan only, the A6 Avant and A7 Sportback exclusive editions are as much about rarity as refinement. At ¥13,020,000 for the A6 Avant and ¥13,450,000 for the A7 Sportback, they slot into the upper reaches of Audi’s Japanese lineup — aimed at drivers who prefer their performance wrapped in design subtlety rather than shout.
