Audi has been confirmed as the Official Car Partner of the UK’s Silverstone Circuit and home to the F1 British Grand Prix in a new three-year agreement beginning in 2026, aligning the German manufacturer with the Home of British Motorsport.
The partnership brings together two performance brands with deep motorsport heritage. Silverstone has stood at the center of global racing for more than 75 years, while Audi’s record spans the World Rally Championship, multiple victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, global GT competition and the Dakar Rally amongst others. The collaboration lands just as Audi prepares for its Formula 1 era under the Audi Revolut F1 Team banner.
From 2026 onward, the partnership will result in Audi placement at the circuit in several interesting ways – from support to experiential duties.
VIP TRANSPORTATION
Audi will supply a fleet of luxury vehicles to support VIP transportation across Silverstone’s marquee events, including the Formula 1 British Grand Prix. The goal is straightforward in this case: elevate the guest journey from arrival to departure with a premium, performance-focused experience consistent with both brands’ positioning.
AUDI RS 3 IN SILVERSTONE DRIVE EXPERIENCES
Audi will also integrate directly into the circuit’s fan-facing programming. Through Silverstone Drive Experiences — the UK’s only driving experience hosted on a current Formula One circuit — participants will have the opportunity to get behind the wheel of the Audi RS 3. The RS 3’s smaller footprint and high-output five-cylinder turbo engine make it a fitting ambassador for on-track instruction at one of the world’s most revered circuits.
OFFICIAL PACE CAR
In addition to road car activations, Audi will take on duties as Official Pace Car Partner for selected race events at Silverstone, reinforcing its visible presence during competition weekends. The move further strengthens the brand’s on-track identity ahead of its full Formula 1 entry.
José Miguel Aparicio, Director of Audi UK, framed the agreement as a natural step as the company transitions into its F1 chapter, noting the alignment between two globally recognized performance brands. Rachel James, Head of Partnerships at Silverstone, emphasized the expanded fan access to the Audi brand — from VIP mobility to Drive Experiences and pace car responsibilities.
With Audi’s Formula 1 program debut happening now, establishing a formal presence at Silverstone — a circuit synonymous with the British Grand Prix and modern F1 history — reinforces the brand’s long-term motorsport commitment in one of the sport’s most influential markets.
The three-year agreement also places Audi at the operational and experiential heart of Silverstone as Formula 1 enters a new technical era — one that Audi intends to help shape with aligned products such as the new RS 5 with hybrid power – a car that appears to have its Avant body style silhouetted in the official image distributed with this announcement.
