Audi Canada is organizing an enthusiast-focused activation around the Canadian Grand Prix, introducing “Audi Rue 26” as an official brand-backed gathering set for Friday, May 22. Positioned in the heart of Old Montréal at the Clock Tower, the event runs from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM and aims to bring Audi owners and fans together during one of the busiest motorsport weekends on the calendar.
The concept is straightforward: a curated Audi car gathering with brand support, timed to align with the growing presence in Formula 1. Audi frames the event around its “We don’t race alone. We move as one.” messaging, leaning into community as it builds momentum toward its F1 entry.
R26 TAKES CENTER STAGE
A key draw of Rue 26 is the planned display of the Audi R26 F1 car, giving attendees an up-close look at the brand’s F1 design language during Canadian Grand Prix weekend. The appearance of the R26—positioned as a visual anchor for Audi’s upcoming F1 program—adds a layer of factory-backed energy to what might otherwise read as a traditional enthusiast meet.
The event also includes a choreographed drone show over the St. Lawrence River, extending the experience beyond static display and into a more produced, spectacle-driven activation. That approach mirrors similar city-centered F1 week programming seen in markets like Melbourne and Miami, suggesting Audi is adopting a global playbook for local engagement.
AUDI CLUB NORTH AMERICA SUPPORT AND CURATED ENTRY
Rue 26 will be supported by Audi Club North America, reinforcing its enthusiast credentials while maintaining a degree of exclusivity. Vehicle participation is limited, with prospective exhibitors required to submit applications for selection. Final participants are to be notified by April 30, underscoring a curated approach rather than a fully open-access meet.
