As we wait for the first day’s haul of imagery and information from Bahrain, it seems like a timely segway to share the images of the design you see here. Created by Jonas Swoboda (@simaracer_jonas on Instagram, it’s his proposal of an R8 LMS GT3 livery you may find familiar.
Audi Revolut F1 chose to change things up with their initial livery proposal on the R26 Concept and now mainly unchanged save logos as it takes to Bahrain for testing. Implementing a new take on the Audi Sport “tri colore” theme, it looks the business on an F1 car. But, does it work on an R8 LMS GT3?
We’d argue yes. Jonas effectively paired the segmentation this livery introduced with the lines of the R8, adding in many of the current team sponsors. I’m a fan. If you are too, go ahead and give him a follow.
