ABT Sportsline Turns Focus on New Audi S5 Avant

With the new Audi A5 Sedan arriving now even in American dealerships, the B10 era is solidly upon us. Further evidence of that is this latest release from German Audi tuning house ABT Sportsline who have upgraded a European market S5 Avant, here for your viewing pleasure.

The new S5 is the most powerful member of the B10 A5 family, at least for now. Nevertheless, there’s always room for improvement so ABT managed to upgrade the car’s 3.0 V6 TFSI, increasing power from 367 hp (270 kW) to 440 hp (324 kW). Torque is similarly improved, now weighing 50 Nm more with an upgraded peak of 600 Nm.

In an effort to make the B10 S5’s appearance even more sporty, ABT has also fitted their own aerodynamics package that includes a new front lip, air intake covers and a more dynamic rear spoiler. This car also gets matte black ABT tailpipe tips made from stainless steel (102 mm diameter.

Underneath, lowering springs from ABT drop the S5 25 millimeters. This lower stance optimizes the car’s handling without compromising handling says ABT. It also makes the car look even more aggressive, even more so when also fitted with new 20-inch ABT Prime alloy wheels finished in glossy black and wearing 245 35 R20 tires.

Inside, a few select elements have also been added. These include door sill lights, an ABT start-stop button and floor mats wearing ABT logos.

At least for Europeans, the ABT package for the new S5 is available now, pricing in at €14,900 (including VAT, plus installation and TÜV approval).
