This week’s theme in Finds of the Week revolves around bricks. No, they’re not Lego sets. Though Audi is a regular partner with Lego, there’s also a rich world of independent fans creating designs they’ve made themselves. Throw in modern capabilities in computer-simulated builds and independent sources of plastic bricks and this opens up a whole new world of possibilities… for enthusiasts and for manufacturers. Behold: The art of the MOC.
The MOC acronym stands for “My Own Creation”, something Lego encourages… at least in part. Over the years, Lego has accepted submissions online by these sorts of designers. Some even become kits. Other whole websites focus on additional “rebrickable” designs that can be built from an existing Lego kit. Look beyond the official though, and there’s a whole world of independent designs now often offered as kits.
MOC kits available online can range in both quality and design. Bricks aren’t always Lego bricks, though often they’re compatible. Designs can be hard to build, or fall apart more readily than official kits. Beauty… well, beauty and accuracy can be in the eye of the beholder.

There’s another interesting aspect. Some of these are actually licensed designs. They’ll say that specifically on their pages, and these are most likely to not get a cease and desist notice from Audi. Other sites list them with non-specific names such as “German GT Car” or the like, while others hold their breath and call them by name while gambling that the better search engine placement doesn’t draw unwanted brand attention.
Generating this list, I chose to include a collection of designs that seemed interesting. Some claim to be officially licensed and I’ll note that. Others are not. I’ve not purchased nor assembled any of these kits, so they’re purely here based on what looks interesting online.
The point here is to find interesting things for Audi aficionados, or at least some entertainment value for those of us who appreciate the dual level of nerdiness one must have to love cars and Lego os much that you’d create your own design and then put it online for others to build.

I’m going to include pricing at the time of this publishing. Quite obviously, prices and availability with fluctuate. If links are dead or prices have changed, please understand that this is a snapshot of a moment in time in March of 2025.
A few other bits of business before we dig in: 1) what the kit includes is based on what can be seen and interpreted as an Audi from the pictures and is not advertised by the source. 2) Notes of licensing are based on claims on the source website. Please defer to those websites or Audi for official confirmation of license status as this website has nothing to do with any of that. 3) This website is not affiliated with the vendors associated with this story.
With that, let’s get started. I’ll begin with the licensed kits, then move on from there.
