Walter De Silva is a heavy hitter in the world of automotive design in general. Regarding Audi, he’s served as design chief and eventually would move on to become head of design for the entire Volkswagen Group. He created the Singleframe Grill, a key feature that helped move Audi to the forefront during the 2000s and 2010s.
During my time with Audi Club North America, I interviewed Walter and his son Alexandre De Silva at Monterey Car Week for the Unfair Advantage Podcast.
