MTM Pangaea GT: 1,100 hp + Carbon Body for the Audi RS 6

At the 2025 Auto Zürich show, Motoren Technik Mayer (MTM) unveiled what may be its boldest creation yet—the Pangaea GT. Limited to 25 examples worldwide, this carbon-bodied super estate delivers 1,100 horsepower, transforming the familiar Audi RS 6 formula into something far beyond the norm.

It’s clear the Pangaea GT expands upon the Audi RS 6 model quite literally. Measuring 5.13 meters long and 2.12 meters wide, the car stretches 13 centimeters longer and 17 centimeters wider than the production Avant. The entire body, from the fenders with integrated air intakes to the roof and rear spoiler, is newly developed in lightweight carbon fiber. MTM engineered these components in-house, shaving mass while improving rigidity and aerodynamic precision.

Inside, MTM has stripped away excess to reveal a cockpit built around function and feel. Four individual carbon bucket seats replace the typical five-seat configuration, with Alcantara, carbon, and leather finishes throughout.

At its core, the Pangaea GT retains Audi’s 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8—but almost nothing remains untouched. MTM reworked the turbochargers, intake, exhaust, and ECU calibration to extract 1,100 hp and 1,200 Nm of torque. The resulting acceleration is beyond the realm of practicality: 0–100 km/h in under 2.5 seconds, 0–200 km/h in under eight, and a top speed exceeding 350 km/h. These are figures that rival dedicated hypercars.

Yet the power delivery is as refined as it is brutal. MTM emphasizes control, ensuring the Pangaea GT remains composed on both mountain roads and high-speed autobahns. A widened track, reengineered chassis, and active aerodynamics help translate raw output into usable performance.

MTM will build 25 customer examples, plus a prototype, each crafted largely by hand. Pricing remains unknown at this time but is expected to reach the upper six figures.
