Audi RS 7 performance for Dubai Police

The Dubai Police have a strong history of high-performance and exotic police cars over the years. In a land where supercars are ubiquitous, it should probably be obvious that traffic enforcement simply wouldn’t be possible with run-of-the-mill police cruisers. Fortunately for the Dubai PD, an Audi RS 7 performance isn’t just any police car.

The natural need for speed on the part of the local law enforcement has created the opportunity for car manufacturers to get involved. Slap the green and white Dubai Police livery on your high-performance car and it adds to the exoticism for good reason. Audi Dubai, a.k.a. Al Nabooda Automobiles, realized this years ago and has been readily supplying Audi’s latest to the cause.

This year, the Dubai Police received that aforementioned RS 7 performance thanks to the Audi Dubai strategic partnership. The car, along with an R8, were presented at an unveiling ceremony at Dubai’s Museum of the Future and led by His Excellency Major General Eid Muhammad Dhani, the Assistant Commander in Chief of Criminal Investigation Affairs. He was joined by Major General Rashid Al Falasi, Director of the General Department of Transport and Rescue. With them were staff of Audi Dubai / Al Nabooda Automobiles including General Manager Jan Scheidgen,

The Audi RS 7 performance delivered to the Dubai Police boasts 630 hp and 850 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0-100 kmh in 3.4 seconds. Adorned with the graphics of the Dubai Police, the car is sure to grab attention on the streets of Dubai.

K. Rajaram, CEO of Al Nabooda Automobiles, spoke to the ongoing collaboration, stating: “Our partnership with Dubai Police, particularly the Tourism Police Department, is built on ambition and mutual trust. With the addition of the Audi RS7 to the fleet, we are proud to support a vision that prioritises high performance and excellence. Together, we are redefining what is possible in mobility and public engagement.”

It sounds like the car will be primarily performing duties in tourist areas, meaning that if you happen to be visiting Dubai and a certain white and green RS 7 comes into your rearview, you’d best think twice about picking up the pace.
