First widely known for his skill on the racing circuit in an Audi Formula E car, Daniel Abt now navigates a new course — marriage. The former factory Audi driver has evolved into a YouTube personality, automotive tastemaker and now he’s shifting gears from podium finishes to personal milestones like marriage.
On August 8th, Daniel, the most prominent public face in the digital era of the Abt Audi tuning legacy, exchanged vows with his partner, Bianca. The ceremony was less about committing for fast lap time and more about committing to a lifetime, giving this former Formula E driver a reason to slow down just a bit.
BIANCA (FORSTMAIER) ABT
Abt met Bianca Forstmaier at the age of 15, though the pair lost touch when they were young. However, when Daniel turned 30, he invited her to his 30th birthday party and rekindled the connection. Two years later, he proposed. This month, Bianca joined the Abt family.

ABOUT DANIEL ABT
Born Daniel Johannes Abt on December 3, 1992, in Kempten im Allgäu, his life seemed destined for automotive performance from the outset. Abt began karting at the age of nine, making a name for himself in the ADAC Formula Masters by 2008. His trajectory through the motorsport ranks saw stints in the Formula 3 Euroseries, GP2, and even WEC before settling into a defining six-year run in Formula E with the Audi Sport factory team that was also managed by ABT Sportsline – the family business.
Racing is in his DNA. His father, Hans-Jürgen Abt, heads ABT Sportsline GmbH, a name synonymous with performance tuning for the Audi range and also motorsport success. The elder Abt not only helmed the family’s racing ventures but also gave his son an early berth in the ADAC Formula Masters. Later, father and son would work together under the Audi Sport Abt banner in Formula E, paired with former Audi Le Mans driver Lucas di Grassi as the four rings took on electric-driven open wheel racing.
Think it’s coincidence that Daniel Abt raced for his family team much less the Audi factory? It’s actually not. His uncle Christian Abt has done the same, the elder Abt’s own racing career peaking with Audi in the seat of the closed-top Audi R8C LMP1 at Le Mans back in 1999.

When Audi moved away from Formula E, Abt shifted gears and redefined his career to include commentating Formula E coverage and using his motorsport-born celebrity-status to grow the footprint of his own online accounts, not to mention the presence of ABT Sportsline. His digital footprint is notable: 600,000+ followers on TikTok, 499,000 on Instagram plus 630,000 subscribers on YouTube. Beyond that, he’s also a brand ambassador for Cupra, Can-Am and Sonax, while launching ventures like ABT Lifestyle GmbH and ATWA GmbH that his home to his own apparel label kmhkm.
Over the years, Daniel Abt has managed himself shrewdly, amassing an estimated net worth of €13 million. Combine that with the influencer presence and the ABT Sportsline association and you won’t be surprised to know he’s both a car enthusiasts and a car collector. His current mix includes an ABT Sportsline Audi RS 7 R, Porsche 911 GT3 RS, Porsche 911 GT2 RS. And with corporate ties to both Cupra with the sponsorship and Lamborghini for whom ABT Sportsline fields a DTM effort this season, it makes sense that he also has a Cupra Formentor VZ5 and is soon to take delivery of a Lamborghini Revuelto. Daniel’s previous cars are laden with ABT-tuned four-ringers, including an R8 V10, several TT variants and a Q8.
CONGRATULATIONS TO MR. & MRS. ABT
Daniel Abt’s life thus far may have been primarily about speed, but we’re guessing he’s now got great motivation to slow down… at least in this one facet.
For a man whose professional life has always revolved around speed, the pivot to marriage seems less like hitting the brakes and more like finding the perfect cruising gear. Daniel Abt may no longer chase the checkered flag, but in both his career and his personal life, he continues to chart a course defined by passion, precision, and an undeniable love for the drive.
