Given Audi’s next-generation A6 “C9” is confirmed for debut on March 4th, the usual trickle-out of content is beginning to take place. Consider this an update then of what is dropping, embedded or linked here for your reference.
First up is Audi AG official. Following the official notice of the reveal including an A6 Avant draped in a cover, Audi yesterday shared the image you see in the header above showing the front profile of the design bathed in shadow.
Today, they added a teaser video that has been added to the ooooIYKYK YouTube channel so it could then be embedded here also in this story.
Finally, we’re seeing images of a black on black A6 Avant that are likely legitimate. Appearing to be stills from an internal video, they show the car in full detail and at various angles. While ooooIYKYK is not under any embargo from Audi not to share this content, it’s not certain how these photos came to be out in the wild and there’s been an indication of takedowns by Audi of posts we’ve seen on social media. For this reason, you won’t find those photos here. However, those to find them can likely find them online since a quick Googling just now revealed at least one of the shots over on Reddit, and another set over on Instagram.
