OVERVIEW

The Audi Forum Neckarsulm is the public gateway to one of Audi’s most historic production sites. Opened in 2005, the facility was created to connect customers, enthusiasts and visitors with the people, technologies and craftsmanship behind the vehicles built at the adjacent Audi Neckarsulm Plant.

Serving as far more than a visitor center, the Audi Forum Neckarsulm combines customer vehicle delivery, factory tours, exhibitions, dining, retail and event spaces within a single destination. It offers guests the opportunity to experience Audi beyond the showroom by showcasing both the company’s manufacturing expertise and its heritage.

Located directly alongside the production campus, the Audi Forum Neckarsulm has become an important meeting place for Audi owners, employee events, international visitors and enthusiasts exploring the history of one of Germany’s most significant automotive manufacturing sites.

HISTORY

The opening of the Audi Forum Neckarsulm reflected Audi’s growing emphasis on creating closer relationships between customers and the brand.

As the Neckarsulm plant expanded its role in producing premium vehicles and high-performance models, Audi recognized the opportunity to provide visitors with greater access to the company’s manufacturing operations. The Audi Forum Neckarsulm was designed as both an architectural centerpiece and an introduction to the world of Audi, welcoming customers taking delivery of a new vehicle as well as guests interested in learning how Audi automobiles are engineered and built.

Since opening, the Audi Forum Neckarsulm has become an integral part of the Neckarsulm campus and one of Audi’s principal visitor destinations in Germany.

CUSTOMER DELIVERY

One of the Audi Forum Neckarsulm’s defining experiences is customer vehicle delivery.

Customers taking delivery of a new Audi receive their vehicle within the Forum before beginning their ownership experience at the factory where many of the company’s premium models are built. The delivery process is designed to provide a memorable introduction to the vehicle while allowing owners to explore the surrounding campus, exhibitions and hospitality facilities.

FACTORY TOURS

The Audi Forum serves as the starting point for guided tours of the Neckarsulm production facility.

AUDI TRADITION

The Audi Forum Neckarsulm also celebrates the rich industrial history of the Neckarsulm site.

On the Audi Forum’s upper levels, historical displays trace the evolution of the location from its origins as NSU Motorenwerke through its transformation into one of Audi’s principal production facilities. Rotating exhibits frequently showcase historic vehicles, engineering milestones and significant moments from the company’s past, helping visitors understand the heritage behind today’s Audi models.

Together with the nearby production campus, these displays reinforce the site’s unique position within Audi’s history.

Restaurant Nuvolari serves regional and international cuisine and has become a popular destination for both factory visitors and local residents. Named in honor of legendary racing driver Tazio Nuvolari, the restaurant reflects Audi’s longstanding connection to motorsport and automotive culture.

Located on the second floor of the Audi Forum Neckarsulm, the Audi exclusive Showroom showcases the breadth of personalization available through Audi exclusive, the brand’s bespoke customization program managed by Audi Sport GmbH.

The showroom features a regularly changing display of Audi models commissioned with unique specifications, demonstrating how customers can tailor nearly every aspect of their vehicle. Beyond exterior paint finishes and interior color combinations, the exhibit highlights the extensive range of materials, craftsmanship and design possibilities available through the program.

Interactive displays and material samples allow visitors to explore many of the options available to Audi exclusive customers, including leather and Alcantara upholstery, decorative inlays, contrast stitching, thread colors, seat piping, personalized trim elements, wheel designs and special paint finishes. Together, these displays illustrate the level of craftsmanship and individuality that distinguishes Audi exclusive from standard production.

The showroom reinforces Neckarsulm’s role as the center of Audi’s highest levels of personalization, performance and craftsmanship. For many visitors, it offers a rare opportunity to see some highly unique Audi models as they experience the full scope of Audi exclusive beyond what is typically seen in dealerships, showcasing the nearly limitless combinations available to create a truly one-of-one Audi.
