Owners of the B9 Audi S5 Sportback now have another suspension option from H&R, with the German suspension specialist introducing a new Height Adjustable Spring kit designed for facelift models built from 2018 onward. The kit offers the flexibility of a coilover-style ride height adjustment while retaining the factory electronically controlled dampers, making it an appealing upgrade for enthusiasts looking to improve both stance and handling without replacing the complete suspension system.
The new kit allows the S5 Sportback to be lowered approximately 20 to 40 mm at both the front and rear, giving owners the ability to fine-tune ride height to suit their preferred appearance or wheel and tire setup. According to H&R, the springs are engineered to work with the factory adaptive dampers, allowing all electronic suspension functions to remain fully operational while delivering a more responsive driving experience. The company’s goal is to combine sharper handling with the long-distance comfort expected of Audi’s performance Sportback.

For owners looking to further refine the car’s appearance, H&R also recommends its Trak+ wheel spacers, available in silver or black anodized finishes. Offered in widths beginning at 6 mm per axle, the spacers allow both factory and aftermarket wheels to sit more flush with the fenders for a wider, more purposeful stance.
The H&R Height Adjustable Spring kit carries part number 23007-1 and is manufactured in Germany. As with the company’s other suspension products, it includes the necessary certification for applicable markets.
